Many thanks to everyone who came along to our latest Best of Bath event. It was great to see some old friends and some new faces. Best of Bath Networking events are monthly events held in Bath at various locations to provide an excellent opportunity for business networking and for building relationships with local organisations.

Official Launch of Avon Valley Wheels

Everyone is welcome to attend the drop in event which will take place from 11.45 – 13.00 at the Green Park Brasserie, Green Park Station on 29 September. At the launch, people will have the chance to find out more about the scheme and the rides on offer. There will also be the opportunity to take part in a free short led ride along the river on the Avon Valley Wheels bikes with cycle leader for the scheme Tom Webster, at 1pm.

Councillor Terry Gazzard, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Tourism, Leisure & Culture said:

“Bath & North East Somerset Council is supporting local people to get active. Cycling is a great way to improve health and fitness and promotes sustainable means of transport in the long term.

“Schemes like Avon Valley Wheels are a great way to get back on your bike, build your cycling confidence and meet new people. Why not come along to the launch event and find out more?”

Braz wins FSB Award for best Use of Local Organisations

We are proud to announce that we have won the FSB Award 2009 for best Use of Local Organisations.
National FSB chairman John Wright said the small business community was important to the economy of B&NES.
Mr Wright reminded guests of the underlying objectives of the FSB’s Keep Trade Local campaign.
He said: Everyone should support small local businesses to enable them to flourish and grow.
