Bath Farmers' Market

Our farmers and producers, celebrating the best of local

Working with Bath's farmers and producers has been at the heart of what we do at Green Park Brasserie from day one.

Since 1992 we've worked with the South West's finest suppliers and in 1997 the Bath Farmers' Market came to Green Park Station for the first time.

Roll forward some twenty plus years and the Bath Farmers' Market is at its strongest - championing the food and drink produced within 25 miles of Bath.

Here are some of the Bath Farmers' Market traders, farmers and producers that can be found across our menu at the Brasserie and at our sibling business, Bath Pizza Co.

Sandridge Farmhouse Bacon

Sandridge Farmhouse have been providing bacon for our Head Chef, Steve Derry for as long as we can remember. Found on our menus used as an ingredient in a number of dishes, Sandridge Farmhouse's Bacon is also a core staple on our menu used as an ingredient in many dishes.

The Bath Farmers’ Market enables us to be seasonal and local. Having some of Bath and Somerset’s best farmers, producers and suppliers on our doorstep has helped us to create some fantastic dishes across our menus over the years.

Homewood Cheeses

Homewood Cheeses are like no other.  Based in Ubley in the beautiful Chew Valley, they produce cheeses by hand with ewes milk from two Somerset flocks. Angela and Tim have been providing cheese to the Brasserie to be used across our Cheese Board and as a range of ingredients in our tarts, omelettes, salads, sauces and anything else we can find reason to include their outstanding range of cheeses in. Bath Pizza Co also buy from Homewood, regularly using the Ricotta, Halloumi and Old Demdike as well as offering a 'Homewood Cheeses' special. Friends and family of the Brasserie will also recognise Tim and Angela's cheeses at dinner parties around Bath!

Partridge, Venison, Quail Eggs and Duck can all be found at Green Park Station's Bath Farmers' Market. Over the years Ted has provided a range of meat for the Brasserie and most recently with a venison special for our sister business Bath Pizza Co. The minced Venison, tomato, red onion and mozzarella pizza has been a favourite and is set to return in the next few weeks. Watch this space!

Chris Rich Farm Shop

Chris Rich is one of the Bath Farmers' Market longest standing traders. Based a couple of miles out of Bath city centre, Chris Rich produces an exceptional crop of fruit and vegetables year round. We've also been known to pick up a few Christmas trees from Chris' farm over the years too.

Somerset Charcuterie

The Somerset Charcuterie mainly use Saddleback, Oxford Sandy & Black or Tamworth pigs to produce an outstanding charcuterie range. Comprising of Somerset Cider Chorizo, Black Pepper Salami, Sage & Mustard Salami, Duck Breast, Lonza and more, we're looking to work closely with the Somerset Charcuterie team with Bath Pizza Co this year.

Tunley Farm Butchers

Tunley Farm Butchers can be found week round at Green Park Station, but have a wider range of specials available on Saturdays to coincide with the Bath Farmers' Market. We've sourced pork and chicken from Mark at Tunley Farm Butchers in recent years in order to create Brasserie dishes as well as the very popular BBQ Chicken pizza (pictured) and chicken specials at Bath Pizza Co.

Bath Farmers' Market: the perfect foodie test bed

Green Park Brasserie launched Bath Pizza Co in 2016. Taking the Brasserie's menu mantra of local, seasonal produce and applying this to Bath Pizza Co, we've collaborated with even more producers and farmers with the Bath Pizza Co menu. As well as testing and refining our menu we were able to test our pizzas out on visitors and traders at the Bath Farmers' Market. A big thank you to the many who helped us refine our menu during our first full year of trading.
