What a 13 months
As we catch our breath to pen some news and thoughts, we really want to start by expressing our thanks and gratitude to all of our customers. Your ongoing support and messages through the pandemic have has been phenomenal.
You’ve enabled us to viably trade as takeaway only at Bath Pizza Co in the darkest of lockdown months in Jan and Feb seeing us through to our re-re-re-opening on 12 April last week. Not only that but your support through Lockdown 1, April/May/June and Lockdown 2, November which seem like a life time ago - was just incredible. We are throwing a party later this year to say thank you!
The knock-on effect of this support means jobs for local people, trade and economy with local Bath businesses, and security for our business - all of which we are hugely thankful for.
To say the hospitality sector has had a rollercoaster year would be rather an understatement.
We love what we do and feel we add something to our community. Bath is a colourful and vibrant city and we hope to be part of making it a wonderful place to live in, work in and visit. Every drink, bite and penny you contribute towards our business helps us to remain trading as one of Bath’s longest running independents - and making Bath a great place to be. We’re now very excited for the coming months and some regular sense of trading and life!
Now and the next few months
We are now open - with limited capacity but are incredibly excited at the prospect of welcoming many new and old faces to the Braz.
The sun has been shining, the drinks have been flowing and we love seeing the smiles and cheer back as life in Bath picks up speed again.
We’ve made some changes to our business in terms of the less-glamours stuff, including our seating, flooring, bar design and decoration - things we hope will add to our guest’s experience.
As it stands:
We reopened on 12 April on the front terrace, with our wonderful new bar drink list, cocktails, craft beers and wine alongside the food menu from our sister business Bath Pizza Co
May 19 will be when we reopen the Brasserie kitchen with a limited menu
From 19 May indoor dining and the back terrace at Bath Pizza Co will be open (please note bookings are only taken for inside dining)
Live music with jazz, funk, soul and swing will return from 19 May every Weds, Thurs, Fri & Stat night too - boy, we cannot wait!
For now 21 June looks set to be the “back to normal” situation

We are taking bookings for indoor dining now ahead of mid May reopening inside and look forward to catching up and welcoming you the the Brasserie as soon as you can make it down.
